I am also in the Learning Community panel, and I will follow Suzanne’s lead (we teach a TLC together) and discuss the same ideas from the perspective of the non-English/Lit half of the Learning Community. I have a handout that shows the difference between my regular (stand-alone) syllabus and my syllabus when the course is linked to the English Comp/Lit course, an assignment I use that pairs nicely with one of the ones Suzanne uses in our TLC, and descriptions of the TLCs offered at our college that involve an English course.
